Introduction

eversyn GmbH is an innovative biotechnology startup based in Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Founded in 2022, the company is a spin-off from the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems. eversyn specializes in developing cutting-edge technologies for the production of nucleotide sugars and oligosaccharides, with applications in nutrition and pharmaceuticals.


The company was established by a team of former Max Planck scientists and business professionals, combining deep scientific expertise with entrepreneurial acumen. Recently, eversyn secured €1.6 million in seed funding.



Tasks

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented working student to support our Chief Business Officer (CBO) in various operational and administrative tasks. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and business operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Sales Support:


    • Prepare and draft customer offers in collaboration with the CBO.

    • Process sales orders and invoices accurately and efficiently.

    • Maintain and update sales records and databases.


  • Product Marketing:


    • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns

    • Support the organization and execution of exhibitions and trade shows

    • Assist in launching new products, the creation of labelling, claims, and technical documentation.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product launches.


  • Market Research:


    • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential markets.

    • Analyze data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.




Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interest in sales, marketing, and business development.
