About The Role
For our Controlling department at the location in Mannheim, we are looking for a working student (d/f/m) for a period of at least one year with up to 20h/week to support our team as soon as possible. The department is key business partner to the central funtions Global Business Services and Intellectual Property and is operating in an international environment.
What You Will Do
- Support monthly closing and reporting activities for GBS & IP and assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses
- Analyze cost developments and identify variances, maintain and update financial models, reports and presentations
- Work with financial data in Excel, SAP, and Power BI
- Assist in maintaining cost center structures and financial master data, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards
- Contribute to ongoing Finance and Controlling projects
Who You Are
- Currently enrolled as a university student in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field with stong interest in Finance, Controlling and business performance management at a German University or University of Applied Science
- Good understanding of financial statements and basic controlling principles
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills,strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to handle confidential financial and business information with discretion
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, experience with SAP, Power BI or similar tools is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Fluent in English and German
