YOUR IMPACT

  • Support the planning, preparation, and follow-up of internal and external information security audits, certifications, and assurance activities.
  • Coordinate audit evidence collection, maintain documentation, and track requests, findings, and agreed actions through to completion.
  • Work with teams across EQS Group to obtain information, clarify responsibilities, and follow up constructively on open tasks and deadlines.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes and controls within the ISMS, with exposure to security frameworks like ISO/IEC 27001,ISO 42001, TISAX, C5, SOC 2, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and relevant regulatory requirements such as GDPR, DORA, NIS 2, and the EU AI Act.
  • Assist with audit-readiness activities, process reviews, reporting, and the maintenance of information-security and assurance records. Explore secure, responsible uses of AI to improve documentation, evidence structuring, and audit workflows.

THIS IS YOU

  • You are interested in information security, governance, risk, compliance, and internal and external audits.
  • Initial knowledge of information security frameworks and related standards is welcome but not required.
  • You work in a structured, reliable, and detail-oriented way, communicate clearly, and enjoy coordinating with technical and non-technical colleagues across several departments.
  • You can organize information and follow-ups independently and are comfortable asking focused questions when details are missing.
  • You have very good English skills; German is an advantage.
  • You are expected to work at least two days per week, including a minimum of one day on-site at our Munich office
  • The selected candidate is expected to start in January 2027.
