Processes & Tools or Tools & Automation Sourcing Department in specific is in charge of Sourcing tools & automation technologies (e.g. eSourcing, Contract Management, eSigning, Procurement Hub, RPA, Workflow automation, MS Power), exploration, implementation and tools run support: Content management, technical integrations, interfaces to pre-systems, system consolidations, migrations and new roll-outs.

We are looking for candidates starting from September 2026 onwards in Bonn (ideally for 6months). Internship at our DHL Corporate Procurement – Tools & Automation Sourcing Department

Tasks:

• Support creating reports and dashboards of Procurement KPI:s
• Support Digitalization initiatives within the organization, as needed.
• Applying and testing of AI and SmartAutomation tools
• Document business process and identify improvement and automation areas
• Support pilot, testing, and rollout activities for eSourcing platforms, including user onboarding, stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, issue tracking, and adoption support.
• Process modelling
• Collect and consolidate business requirements, user feedback and surveys from user groups as needed.
• Automate repetitive processes using Automation technology like Robotics Process Automation (RPA), MS Power Automate etc.
• Support the run activities of our procurement tools and platforms
• Test and confirm the viability of designed and configured solutions
• Contribute to the change management process by supporting design and creation of training and support materials
  
  
  

Professional Requirements

• You are in your final year of studies and would like to broaden your knowledge and experience in a digital environment within DHL Corporate Procurement
• You have a Bachelor’s or comparable degree
• Good knowledge of English, German knowledge would be an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of AI Tools and Microsoft Office tools (e.g. MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio etc.) and affinity with other collaboration platforms such as Jira and Confluence
• Good knowledge of technologies such as RPA, Workflow tools (e.g. SharePoint, Bizagi), Virtual Assistants and other automation/reporting technologies is an advantage
• Willingness and aptitude to learn new digital solutions and apply them for improvement in daily work
