Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, analytical, and highly organized UX Ops Intern to join our global Quick Commerce (QC) User Experience team. Our mission is to scale organizational alignment and efficiency, enabling our Design and Research teams to operate as highly efficient and unified strategic partners across the business.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain full-time, hands-on experience across both Design and Research. You will work closely with our Design and Research team to supercharge the impact of the design organization by streamlining workflows, managing operational documentation, optimizing collaborative toolkits, and supporting core team connection rituals.
Key ResponsbilitiesAs our UX Ops Intern, you will work at the intersection of design, research, and strategy to help optimize the operational landscape of our global design team. Your day-to-day focus will center on the three core pillars of DesignOps excellence:

  • Collaboration & Rituals: Support the planning and execution of key UX and research initiatives, including design workshops, training sessions, and research studies to maintain team alignment."
  • Logistics Coordination: Facilitate smooth event execution by identifying suitable venues, coordinating with third-party vendors, and preparing session materials.
  • Communication Strategy: Contribute to design and research operations by ensuring the successful planning, drafting, and delivery of key internal communication channels.
  • Workflow Optimization: Help develop and implement proactive ideas for improving end-to-end UX design and research workflows.
  • Documentation Governance: Collaborate closely with the team to capture, structure, and document and tactical best practices. Partner with the team to identify, organize, and create high-quality operational content tailored for various cross-functional audiences.
  • Knowledge Management: Assist in collecting and disseminating critical design and research resources (e.g., maintaining Friday Flash, syncing meeting templates, and updating the research repository)."

 

 

Qualifications

  •  Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design Project Management, Communications, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Tool Familiarity: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Miro, Figma, Slack).
  • Core Interest: An interest in user experience (UX) design and research methodologies (a plus).
  • Mindset: A positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to tackle challenges head-on, contributing to a supportive and high-performing team culture.

Internships have no 20-hour cap, but a voluntary internship longer than three months generally has to pay at least the German minimum wage. Mandatory internships in your study programme are exempt.
