Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Intern for our Local Shops team.  At Local Shops team, you will be at the heart of growing our small and medium accounts across 60+ markets. You will own a portfolio of collaborative and operational workstreams — from acquisition pipeline management to program rollouts — working closely with regional and local entity teams as well as central product, business and growth strategy functions.

We are looking for a sharp, curious, and enthusiastic team member who combines thoughtful problem-solving with strong project management skills and a genuine passion for business. If you thrive in fast-paced, international environments and love turning data into clear actions, this role is for you. Improve Customer Choice by setting up the mechanisms to bring to our platform the right vendor selection by:

  • Providing guidance to regional teams on what to pursue commercially

  • Implementing best-in-class processes to identify, nurture, and prioritize the potential partners to pursue, working with regional teams to ensure they get the information they expect and with central Product to secure the best possible data-set in Salesforce

  • Reporting monthly progress of the Vendor Acquisitions program via a key insights report for the regional heads of Local Shops

  • Own Account classification (i.e. big, medium, small, key, non-key, etc.) by executing a quarterly exercise with regional teams and coordinating with central Product team to keep Salesforce records updated

Support and guide the go-to-market of:

  • Our Vendor loyalty program to foster greater performance, doing the go-live of more markets, coordinating steps with central product and regional and local teams, and providing a monthly progress and performance insights report
  • Our Dynamic Delivery Areas program to improve coverage, coordinating the expansion and go-live of our logistics product features with central and regional logistics teams, and producing a monthly performance report to share with our key stakeholder.

Qualifications

  • Background in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
  • Strong mindset for patterns and trends: you feel comfortable with data, spreadsheets, and translating numbers into business insights, with SQL or Python experience as a must and AI curiosity/usage as a big plus.

  • Solid project management skills: you thrive at running multiple workstreams simultaneously, with many cross-functional stakeholders and tight deadlines.

  • Robust business acumen: you understand commercial dynamics in a marketplace or platform business.

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills: you feel at ease in influencing and building consensus.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Salesforce
