Description provided by DeepImmo

About Us

DeepImmo is an innovative PropTech company that’s revolutionizing the real estate market! Our big goal is to create more transparency around buying and renting properties. To achieve this, we offer a data-driven Real Estate OS, a software solution that delivers deep analysis into location, market dynamics, and demand — providing our customers with actionable insights and thereby giving them a decisive competitive advantage. Together, we are shaping the future of the real estate industry by developing smart, innovative solutions, free from old conventions and plenty of courage to embrace the new.

The DeepImmo Data & Analytics team contributes the quantitative edge into our product by building the data groundwork and bringing the data alive. We integrate a wide range of data sources, create robust pipelines, and build the machine learning models and analytical methods that power our Real Estate OS.

To strengthen our team, we’re looking for a Working Student Data (m/w/d) who is excited to get hands-on across the full data spectrum — with a slight focus on Data Engineering and DataOps. If you enjoy building reliable pipelines, improving data quality, and making systems run smoothly (while also getting exposure to AI projects), this role is for you.

Your Role

In this role, you will:

  • Implement data pipelines in PySpark on Databricks to transform raw data into structured, analytics-ready datasets.

  • Maintain, improve, and extend existing pipelines — ensuring reliability, performance, and clarity as our data landscape grows.

  • Refine raw data into “gold data” by developing well-constructed data models, setting up quality assurance measures, and helping orchestrate the end-to-end flow.

  • Keep the data flowing (DataOps): help us monitor pipelines, spot issues early, troubleshoot when things go wrong, and contribute to making our operations more stable and observable by improving our infrastructure and workflows

  • Participate in machine learning / AI projects:

We’re continuously experimenting and releasing AI features for our Real Estate OS. You’ll support model improvement, explore ideas with real-world applications to real estate, and help move promising prototypes towards deployment.

Your Profile

  • You are currently studying in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Applied Statistics, or a related field.

  • You have a strong interest in working in a data-focused role — ideally with curiosity for DataOps and how data products run in production.

  • You bring a high degree of self-organisation and individual responsibility and enjoy taking ownership of tasks end-to-end.

  • You’re well familiar with SQL, Python and interested in Big Data processing with Apache Spark / PySpark as well as DataOps

  • Additionally, you’re ideally interested in working with AirFlow, AWS and Databricks

  • Fluency in English is a must-have, good German skills are beneficial

Why grow with us?

  • Be the data-driven force behind a product that is redefining how real estate professionals work.

  • Become part of a small, ambitious team where your contributions are visible and valued.

  • Help us shape the future of the real estate industry.
