What awaits you?
- You will support the Lead of Crowd Innovation and the Open Innovation Team in managing the BMW Crowd Innovation Platform.
- Furthermore, you help optimize the platform by identifying and implementing improvements to enhance the user experience.
- In addition, you assist BMW departments worldwide in conceptualizing and implementing structured calls for ideas.
- Moreover, you engage with the BMW Crowd as a moderator and ideation manager on the platform.
- You also contribute to setting standards for ideation processes, crowd communication, and platform content.
- Additionally, you support workstreams including communication activities, early validation in the BMW Incubator, and project piloting in Business Building.
- Studies in Business Administration, Innovation Management, Marketing, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the Build-Measure-Learn approach.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong interest in automotive research and development, especially in Open Innovation, Lean Startup, and Crowdsourcing.
- First experience in Open Innovation, Crowd Innovation, Lean Startup methodology, or UI/UX design is a plus.
- Fluency in English and German.

Intern Open Innovation Ideation & Crowd Innovation (f/m/x)
Wichtiges für Werkstudierende
Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Operations in Munich für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.
Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
