We are revolutionizing our supply chain operations through cutting-edge machine learning and AI engineering, developing models for natural language to SQL conversion, voice-to-text transformation, automated code documentation, and supply chain risk assessment.

What awaits you?

  • You will support collecting, preprocessing, and analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights that drive supply chain improvements.
  • Furthermore, you help design, implement, and validate machine learning models to predict supply chain trends, optimize logistics, and improve operational efficiency.
  • In addition, you contribute to developing algorithms and systems for automating reporting tasks, reducing manual effort and minimizing errors.
  • Moreover, you will assist in working with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, supply chain experts, and IT professionals, to ensure seamless integration of ML solutions.


What should you bring along?

  • Studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field (Master's degree).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-Learn.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Tech in Munich für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
