Description provided by Bees & Bears GmbH

Your Mission

As a Founder's Associate, you'll work directly with our founders and the Head of Product, on the topics that matter most right now. You'll drive special projects forward, create structure where there isn't any yet, and learn how a Climate FinTech works from the inside.

This role isn't for people who wait for tasks to land in their inbox. It's for someone who gets things moving, learns fast, and wants real impact, from day one.

Your Impact:

  • You support the Head of Product on strategic projects and drive them forward with full ownership.
  • You act as a sparring partner for different teams: from Product and Engineering to Operations.
  • You build dashboards, analyse data, and surface insights that would otherwise get lost in the day-to-day.
  • You think along on workflows, identify automation potential, and implement first solutions.
  • You learn how to take a product from 0 to 1, and then you actually do it.
  • You keep track of parallel workstreams and make sure priorities stay clear.
  • You'll be part of conversations that shape direction, and you'll bring your own perspective to them.

Your Talent

  • You have a background in Business, Economics, or a related field, with a genuine affinity for tech and product.
  • You've gained first experience in a fast-moving environment: startup, consulting, or similar.
  • You think in structures, act pragmatically, and never lose sight of the bigger picture.
  • You learn fast and want to understand how things really work, not just on the surface.
  • You're flexible and adaptable: data analysis today, process design tomorrow, product discussion the day after.
  • You take ownership without anyone having to ask.
  • You speak English fluently and have at least B2-level German.
  • Ideally, you're available for at least 6 months, enough time to actually make a dent.
  • Ideally, you're interested in product, markets, and building companies, and maybe want to found something yourself one day.

Our Offer

Growth & Culture

We move fast, we build a lot of new things, and we learn something every day. You'll be part of a team that doesn't just work — it actually builds something — with a lot of ownership and genuine team spirit.

Impact

Your job has a direct impact on the energy transition. Full stop.

And because that matters to us, we give extra days off for climate activism.

Flexibility

We work hybrid and on a trust basis. Working from home is completely normal for us — 2 days per week is the standard, and we shape the rest around what works best for collaboration and focus. Workations are possible if it works for you and your team.

Perks

You get a flexible bonus to use however you like — sport, culture, travel, whatever works for you.

Food & Energy

Long days happen. When the office is running, so is the food: just order something via Wolt.

Team & Vibe

We take our mission seriously — but not ourselves. Offsites, team evenings, and our "Bees & Beers" are just as much part of the job as the work itself.

About Us

At Bees & Bears, we’re a Climate FinTech on a mission to unlock capital for the energy transition. We believe finance is the key to accelerating the shift toward a sustainable future. The challenge ahead is massive: by 2050, the world needs to invest €150 trillion (!) to reach climate neutrality. 65% of this investment will need to be financed through loans.

Our mission is to channel capital into the sustainable economy — to accelerate the transition and make the world greener.

What we do:

We work closely with installers of climate hardware such as solar systems, energy storage, and heat pumps — enabling their customers to finance installations easily through monthly installments. Our platform provides the technical and financial foundation to make this happen. In doing so, we’re actively accelerating the energy transition — for households, for our partners, and for the planet.

We’ve recently secured €500 million in funding commitments to green 25,000 households over the next two years. Prior to that, we raised two funding rounds backed by several renowned VCs — and we’ve been growing rapidly ever since.

Sound like the perfect job for you?

We look forward to your application and to getting to know you!

At Bees & Bears, we place a high value on equal opportunity and are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. We strive to create a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all our employees, regardless of ethnic origin, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability and abilities of any kind, physical appearance, social background, marital status, age, or religion (or lack thereof).

Even if you don’t meet the requirements 100%, we still encourage you to apply.

You don’t want an ordinary job. You want to build something that truly matters. Be part of shaping it from day one, move fast and feel your impact. In a startup that doesn’t ask if something is possible – but how fast. Then you’ve come to the right place!
