About This Role

Audible is looking for a proactive and detail-orientated working student to support the production and delivery of our German language audio productions.

The working student will be instrumental in supporting our Production Managers coordination with internal teams, third-party producers and key stakeholders to ensure smooth production processes and best practices for our German language productions. They will help guide our internal and external partners through the life cycle of the productions. Additionally, they will contribute to streamlining production processes, updating tracking systems, and contributing to the facilitation of facilitating best practices to ensure the project’s success.

About The Team

Audible's Production Team is responsible for the commissioning and delivery of world class audio entertainment. We are a highly creative team who use data and creative relationships to bring true meaning to 'premium content'. The team is the driving force behind Audible’s production output of audiobooks, audio dramas, podcasts and theatre productions.

As a Working Student - Production, you will...

  • Provide high-level administrative and organizational support for key stakeholders
  • Help ensure all production milestones are met, as well as maintain and update any reporting and tracking tools
  • Assist the team with the booking and logistics organization of any on-mic and off-mic talent, or third-party producers
  • Support the drafting and preparation of standard agreements for on- and off-mic talent
  • Collaborate with the production team by owning the file management, scripts, contracts, invoicing & payment info
  • Work closely with internal teams (finance, production, legal, marketing etc.) on production’s administration, queries, promotional activities and utilization of our in-house production resources

Basic Qualifications

  • You have a full-time enrollment in a German state-accredited (staatlich anerkanntes) Bachelor or Master program, in the Berlin/Brandenburg area, and have at least 1 year of studies left - expected graduation past March 2027
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office package, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Business fluency, written and verbal, in English & German (C1 minimum)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional language skills: French, Italian, Spanish
  • Experience in a similar role with a strong administrative component (invoicing, financial management, or accounting software applications)
  • Effective communication skills, both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and meeting deadlines
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience or exposure to Airtable, or other project management systems
  • Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues and supporting team members
  • Experience in a Media/Production Environment, or an understanding of content production processes
