As a Working Student in Language Data & Terminology Management you will support our global Content Operations team in managing and maintaining high-quality language data assets. You will contribute to the development and upkeep of terminology databases, assist with data quality checks, and help streamline language workflows.

Your Role

  • Assist in the collection, validation, and maintenance of terminology and language data

  • Support the creation and updating of terminology databases and glossaries

  • Perform quality assurance and consistency checks on language data

  • Help analyse language data to identify gaps and inconsistencies

  • Support the implementation and optimization of terminology management tools and processes

  • Document workflows and contribute to process improvement initiatives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including translation, regulatory, and product teams

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Computational Linguistics, Language Technology, Language Science & Technology, International Information Management, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in terminology management, language data, and linguistic quality assurance

  • Basis Phyton or scripting skills, e.g. for data processing

  • Proficiency in AI, GenAI and other relevant tooling is a plus

  • Excellent command of English and German; additional languages are a plus

  • Basic understanding of terminology management tools and databases (SDL MultiTerm, Kaleidoscope QuickTerm, memoQ, or similar) is a plus

  • Very strong communication and organizational skills

  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

    Dank des Werkstudentenprivilegs zahlst du keine Beiträge zur Kranken-, Pflege- und Arbeitslosenversicherung — nur die Rentenversicherung greift. Dir bleibt mehr netto als in einem regulären Job.

    Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
