We, the international Business Development & Innovation team, are looking for a

Working student Business Development and Innovation (f/m/d)

located in Berlin.

We are driving the development of new, innovative solutions in our Customers and Solutions business area to ensure that we remain an attractive partner for our customers in the long term. We deal with the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition, market and technology developments, trends and start-ups in the energy industry, as well as new business models and solutions for our customers.

With us, you will gain experience for your professional future. You will have the opportunity to get to know an international company at first hand and gain exciting insights into topics such as market and trend analyses, scouting and validation of new business ideas.

As a member of our team, you will support us in particular in researching innovative topics in the energy industry and analysing trends. You will work both in a team and independently and will have a dedicated contact person who will provide you with the necessary support and regular feedback.

Your role

  • Scouting and screening of startups & scale-ups
  • Researching numbers, data, facts to evaluate business opportunities
  • Supporting the team with trend analyses and research deep dives
  • Maintaining and developing the CRM database
  • Communicating with startups and participating in event

Qualifications

Your profile

  • Enrolled student (f/m/d) specialising in energy management, economics, innovation management or a comparable subject
  • Experience in the energy industry is an advantage
  • You are interested in developments on the energy market, innovative solutions and are customer-orientated
  • You have very good communication and analysis skills at various levels of abstraction, are a fan of structured working methods and are confident in using Microsoft Office 365 solutions
  • You are skilled in presenting your work results in a smart and clear way
  • You want to play an active role in shaping the energy transition and take on key tasks independently
  • You enjoy innovative topics, think strategically and at the same time have the ambition to make a contribution in the here and now
  • Good written and spoken German and very good English skills

  • Start of assignment: September 2026
  • Contract duration: At least 1 year
  • Working hours: maximum 20 hours per week, up to 37 hours per week (full-time) possible during the semester holidays
  • Work location: Home office and in the office at least once a week

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
