Talonic · Berlin, On-site · Part-time (Werkstudent-friendly, 15–40 hrs/week)
What we do: Talonic builds enterprise AI that turns unstructured documents into structured, system-ready data for large organizations. In these early days, we work hand-in-hand with our customers to deliver reliable outcomes while hardening our automation. You will join a small, fast-moving technical team that builds with AI. If you want real startup experience with clear, visible impact instead of just another internship fetching coffee, this is it.
Why this role is different: This is not a role for building email sequences or polishing slide decks. The phone is your main tool every working day. You will own the phone conversation from the first second, talking directly to decision-makers across the DACH market to turn cold calls into qualified meetings — and building sales skills most people only get years into their career.
What you will do:
- Cold call prospects across the DACH market with high volume, confidence, and a consultative approach.
- Open conversations with senior decision-makers, handle objections smoothly, and book qualified meetings.
- Qualify prospects over the phone and hand off clean, well-documented opportunities to our sales team.
- Constantly refine call scripts and openers based on what actually works in the market.
- Log every call and outcome in the CRM and report on your metrics weekly.
What we are looking for:
- Native or fluent German (C2): Non-negotiable — you will be selling into the DACH market daily. Fluent English is required for internal work.
- Students and young professionals welcome: No years of sales experience required. First exposure to outbound sales, cold calling, customer-facing work, or promotion jobs is a plus — but drive and coachability matter more than your CV.
- Enrolled students: If you are studying, you must be enrolled at a German university (Werkstudent eligibility). Non-students looking for a part-time entry into tech sales are equally welcome.
- Resilience: You like talking to people, you are comfortable with high volume, and rejection doesn't knock you down.
- Availability: 15–20 hours per week, flexible around your lecture schedule — but during business hours, because that's when decision-makers pick up.
- Location: Based in Berlin.
What success looks like:
We do not care about vanity activity metrics. Success means a steady flow of qualified meetings booked by phone, objection handling that improves week over week, and a pipeline that the sales team can actually close.
What we offer:
- Competitive hourly pay plus uncapped commission tied directly to qualified meetings and pipeline growth.
- Flexible scheduling around your studies, with hours during business days.
- Hands-on sales training and direct mentorship from our sales team — a fast track into tech sales.
- Real ownership in a high-growth environment, and a clear path to a full-time role after graduation.
How to apply:
- Send your CV and a short note in German — tell us about a time you convinced someone of something (a job, a project, a sale, anything) — to [email protected]. That note is the first signal.
