Your responsibilities
- Will support the Quantitative Method (QM) team in developing technical and conceptual methodologies for the evaluation of financial instruments, contributing to their continuous operational enhancement.
- Will contribute to the improvement of IT applications and tools that support the team and its clients, with a focus on operational efficiency and ongoing enhancement of processes.
- Demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Applying foundational IT knowledge and adapting quickly to new tools and systems.
- Building a solid understanding of financial instruments and their valuation via optimization in a business context.
- Communicating effectively and collaborating within the team and across functions.
- Bringing programming proficiency in Python, or a strong interest in developing such skills.
Wichtiges für Werkstudierende
Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Finance in Düsseldorf für dich bedeutet — Vergütungsregeln, Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.
Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
