Upway is the leading platform selling refurbished e-bikes in Europe and the US. In two years, we have given a new life to over 20,000 e-bikes, and we are continuing to grow fast! Germany has now become our largest market, and we are hiring an Operations intern to join our Operations team.

The Operations team’s role is to build and improve our processes in order to offer a seamless customer experience. This includes collecting bikes from sellers, inspecting and repairing them in our workshops, shipping them to consumers and managing after-sales support. Our goal is to build the most efficient, highest-quality and safest operation at scale, so we can refurbish over 1 million German e-bikes in the next 10 years!

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, improve and take ownership of key parts of our operational flow, so that our operations get better every day
  • Go deep into our data to find optimization opportunities
  • Design and implement processes to optimize customer experience and financial efficiency
  • Set up tools and dashboards to get an accurate view on operations and ensure data cleanliness
  • Manage and train Warehouse Technicians on the floor to ensure quality and speed of execution
  • Work closely with the rest of the company (Tech, Finance, Marketing) to support fast growth and expansion

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Operations in Stuttgart für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Sozialabgaben
