The intern works closely with project managers, cross-functional teams, and external partners to help ensure schedules, documentation, and day-to-day project activities remain organized and on track.
This role will be fully on-site in Papenburg, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Support Technology Infrastructure activities across design, construction, and deployment phases
- Assist in coordinating logistics to support timely delivery of project equipment and materials
- Help prepare meeting agendas, capture meeting notes, and track follow-up actions
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, and status trackers
- Support communication between internal teams, the Shipyard, and vendors
- Assist in tracking vendor deliverables and following up on open action items
- Monitor inventory, equipment shipments, and basic logistics activities
- Support reporting activities, including collecting updates for dashboards and leadership reports
- Assist with travel coordination, shipyard access requests, and team logistics
- Help onboard team members by supporting access, tools, and documentation setup
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.,) as well as knowledge of Microsoft Project, Smartsheet
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Effective communication skills across all levels, including senior leadership
- Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn
- Prior experience in Cruise line operations, shipbuilding, construction or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Valid driver’s license in Germany
- Currently enrolled as a junior or higher, or graduated within the past 12 months, from an accredited college/university, earning a degree majoring in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Project Management or similar experience

Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
