What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design and implement backend components for the Engineering Portal
  • Develop and maintain deployment and packaging workflows, focusing on customer private-cloud and on-premise environments
  • Support and improve deployment processes for customer-hosted installations
  • Write integration-level and system-level tests to ensure reliability and quality
  • Contribute to automation of build, release, and deployment processes
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services in customer deployment environments
  • Contribute to documentation and best practices for deployment and operations

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go
  • Understanding of backend service development and RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with databases (relational like PostgreSQL or NoSQL like MongoDB)
  • Basic knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
  • Understanding of software testing concepts (integration and system testing)
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
  • Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms, especially in private-cloud or on-prem setups; exposure to deploying and operating software in customer-managed environments; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools; knowledge of deployment packaging and configuration management; familiarity with observability tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus); experience working in a large-scale or enterprise software environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated mindset
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed team
