Responsibilities

We are constantly moving forward and looking out for several working students in the department of Distribution Services to support our growth in the solar industry. Let's have a peak at what your main responsibilities will look like:

  • Supporting our colleagues in the technical hotline and ticketing system.
  • Providing answers to customers about our technical products (answering questions to our customers regarding our PV products and PV inverters etc.).
  • Supporting in creating FAQs, online courses, tutorials as well as recording and documenting for the related regions.
  • Provide technical support on remote basis.
  • Provide operation and maintenance support through the Sungrow cloud platform.

Your profile

Role

All right, all right, that was intriguing, wasn't it? Now, in order to fit in this role and be happy for a long time, your ideal background should look a lot like this:

  • You are a graduate at a university for one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechatronics or a related field.
  • You are living in Munich or Munich area.
  • You could work 40 hours/week as an intern.
  • Structured and autonomous way of working.
  • Service orientation and eagerness to learn new technical things.
  • German (B2) and English skills (min. B2) are a must have. Communication with our clients will be in German and English. Other language skills are an advantage.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Tech in Munich für dich bedeutet — Vergütungsregeln, Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
