Join our agile and highly collaborative Investment Services Compliance (WpHG) function. In this role, you will dive straight into the heart of modern investment services.
Our lean team structure provides you with a 360-degree view of how a bank ensures investor protection, conducts risk assessments, performs compliance monitoring and reporting, manages conflicts of interest, and supports new investment product launches. If you are looking for a broad, deep, and hands-on learning experience where your support is valued and your voice is heard, this is the place for you.
Your Responsibilities
- Regulatory Guard: You will support our team by managing compliance, monitoring regulatory requirements, and advising on our investment products ensuring adherence to the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) and BaFin's Minimum Requirements for the Compliance Function (MaComp).
- The "How-To" of Portfolio Management & Execution Oversight: Analyze how client orders are executed, ensuring market integrity and investor protection in line with MiFID II regulations, SFDR and MAR.
- Risk & Reporting: Assist in evaluating regulatory obligations, managing conflicts of interest, and preparing sharp compliance reports for management and oversight bodies.
- Collaborate & Coordinate: Speak with internal teams and help coordinate internal and external audits.
- You are a student or recent graduate of Business Law, Law, Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable field and you are available for 4 to 12 months full-time internship in our Frankfurt or Berlin office.
- You have a strong interest in investment products and financial markets. You love breaking down complex topics and approach tasks with a structured, solution-oriented mindset.
- You are curious, proactive, and ready to take ownership of sub-projects with our guidance.
- Because we deal heavily with German regulations, you possess strong German language skills (B2-C1 preferred; B1 is acceptable if you have a strong background in the field).
- Initial exposure to financial markets, knowledge of investment products or familiarity with the Securities Trading Act/European regulations is a plus.
At Raisin, we care about each other and it is one of our top priorities to foster an open and caring environment in which everyone feels welcome and comfortable. Our culture is strongly driven by our ambitious team, which connects more than 75 different nationalities.
As part of our team, you will benefit from:
- Employee Development Budget of €400 and one full training day per year.
