About our role:
Displayed pay range (base salary) is a guide and local market specific. The pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on the type of internship (mandatory/voluntary) and stage of studies: EUR 1.000 – EUR 2.268
As a Social Media intern in the Professional Hair communication department, you are supporting the team with different global social media activities for the brands Goldwell, KMS hair, and Kerasilk. You will also have the opportunity to manage your own projects independently and collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to align efforts and support seamless execution. New challenges, campaigns or content? We are open to ideas and are happy to turn them into reality.
This is a full-time, six-month internship with an immediate start date.
What you will do:
- You support the social media team in the development and implementation of global social media strategies, social media assets and content calendars for brand and product initiatives, for global and local social media channels
- You monitor international rollouts based on established communication guidelines in key markets and monitoring the effectiveness of international brand and product related social media campaigns
- You take on smaller projects that emphasize your independent action, for example working on social media trends and reporting.
- You support the team in day-to-day work, including Interaction with external agencies as well as cross-functional, international colleagues
- You are in at least the 3rd semester of your studies, ideally with a focus on (digital-) marketing, (digital-) communication, economics or media studies
- Previous internship experience, especially in Communication or Marketing, is a plus
- You enjoy thinking both creatively and strategically, and you’ve already gained some solid experience in social media and content management
- You’re confident across all major social media platforms and always up to date on the latest trends
- You have experience in creating content for social media. Willingness to occasionally appear on camera for adhoc trend videos etc. is considered a bonus
- You have an independent and pro-active work-style and are open and communicative
- You have a real passion for beauty- and lifestyle topics and brands
- You speak and write excellent English; German is a nice bonus
- Understanding of AI including the usage of AI tools and its potential applications is an advantage

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
