📢 We're hiring: Student Assistant (HiWi) – Science Communication, PR & International Office
Are you looking for a student job where you can combine organization, communication, and science?
The Max Planck Institute of Biophysics (MPIBP) in Frankfurt is looking for an on-site Student Assistant (HiWi) (up to 20 hours/week) to join our Administration team and support our PR and International Office.
The MPI of Biophysics is a leading international research institute dedicated to understanding the molecular mechanisms of life. Our scientists investigate fundamental questions in biophysics using cutting-edge approaches, including structural biology, microscopy, computational methods, and biophysical techniques. With researchers from around the world, the institute provides a highly international and interdisciplinary environment.
As part of our Administration team, you will support activities related to science communication, international programmes, and institute operations, including:
🔹 Supporting our international graduate programme
🔹 Assisting international researchers and visitors
🔹 Maintaining websites and online databases
🔹 Creating content for social media and science communication
🔹 Helping organize events and providing general administrative support
We're looking for someone who:
✔ Is enrolled at a German university
✔ Can work on-site in Frankfurt am Main
✔ Speaks both German and English well
✔ Is organized, reliable, and enjoys working with people
Students from natural sciences are especially encouraged to apply. We also welcome applications from students in the social sciences, communications, or related fields who are excited about working in an international research environment.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience at one of Germany’s leading research institutes while developing valuable communication, organizational, and project management skills.
