About Us

We at Hive Robotics democratize local and worldwide teaming and swarming solution in multiple domains

Role

Hive Robotics is building Europe's first full-stack orchestration platform for unmanned systems, connecting, controlling, and commanding multi-vendor drone and robot swarms. Our RF communication systems are Made in Germany, deployed on active frontlines, and targeting a €5B European tactical communication market with zero sovereign alternatives today.

Help us keep our hardware moving. You'll own the operational heartbeat of our inventory and logistics, working directly with our Supply Chain Manager as we ramp production of RF communication systems deployed in the field.

This position is open to both working students (part-time alongside studies, min. 16h/week) and interns (full-time for a fixed term of at least 3 months). Please indicate your preference when applying.

This is a hands-on role at the operational core of our supply chain. You'll work closely with our Operations Team, taking real ownership of inventory tracking, warehouse organisation, and inbound logistics, not just shadowing.

We're at an early stage where processes are still being built, not inherited. That means you won't be handed a manual to follow, you'll help write it. If you're the kind of person who sees a repetitive task and immediately thinks about how to automate it, you'll fit right in. We actively encourage using modern tools and AI to build smarter workflows, not just to keep up, but to get ahead.

If you're studying engineering, business, or a related field and want to see how a fast-scaling deep-tech company actually operates from the inside, and grow significantly in the process, this is the right place.

Responsibilities

Inventory management

Maintain accurate stock records across components and finished goods. Track inbound deliveries, flag discrepancies, and keep our inventory data clean and up to date. You'll build the discipline that makes scaling possible.

Warehouse organisation

Structure and maintain our physical storage, labelling, binning, and organisation of incoming and outgoing goods. As our hardware portfolio grows, you'll help design storage systems that scale with it.

Logistics coordination

Coordinate inbound shipments from suppliers and outbound deliveries to partners or manufacturing. Track delivery status, communicate proactively when something is delayed, and help keep our production schedule on track.

Process building & automation

We don't have a ERP systems in place. You'll help us identify where tools, scripts, or AI-assisted workflows can eliminate manual steps and create repeatable, scalable processes. Whether it's automating a tracking sheet or evaluating a new tool, your initiative here has real impact.

Procurement support

Assist with purchase orders, supplier confirmations, and documentation. You'll support the Supply Chain Manager in keeping procurement workflows running smoothly, a supporting function, not the core of the role.

Requirements

Required

  • Enrolled student in engineering, supply chain, business, or a related field
  • Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal hand-holding
  • Fluent in English; German is a strong plus
  • Available for at least 16h/week (working student) or 3 months full-time (intern)

Nice to have

  • First experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain — internship or student job counts
  • Curiosity about tools and automation — spreadsheets, no-code tools, or AI to make workflows smarter
  • Interest in hardware, electronics, or defense technology
  • Experience with Excel or Google Sheets for data tracking
