As a Working Student Software Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic team, working on our internal product that empowers the Network Operations department. Your role is crucial in improving monitoring capabilities, data-driven insights, and the overall user experience for our internal users. Together, we'll ensure our network operations run smoothly and efficiently.


What You`ll Do

  • Support the development and enhancement of our Operational Monitoring & Network Insights product
  • Extend user usage monitoring capabilities using the ELK Stack
  • Improve and maintain unit and integration tests with AI-supported tools
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and managers throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Participate in agile development activities, including sprint planning and reviews and Document development processes and create user guides
  • Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues and bugs and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
  • Ensure high-quality code and maintain code consistency


What Makes You A Fit

  • Currently enrolled in a fulltime study program in a relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.)
  • Initial experience in software development, preferably with Java
  • Basic understanding of test development and frameworks, as well as a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively and self-organize in a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are advantageous
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, as well as an attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Passion for technology and a desire to make an impact

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
