The company offers access to over 1,000 unique tech items on flexible and financially convenient terms. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Working Student to join the Treasury team at Grover, part-time (20 hours per week) at our Berlin HQ.
As a Working Student in Treasury, you will play a hands-on role in managing Grover's daily cash and liquidity across the group. Reporting directly to the Lead Treasury & Investor Relations, you will support core operational treasury tasks; from monitoring and reconciling daily cash positions to preparing payment instructions across multiple entities. You will be fully integrated into the team from day one, working closely with Treasury, Investor Relations, and Debt Capital Management. This is a high-trust, high-exposure role and an exceptional foundation for anyone serious about building a career in finance or treasury. If you are precise, dependable, and genuinely curious about how corporate finance works, this role offers real responsibility and a rare learning experience.
🎯 What You Will Contribute
- Monitor and reconcile daily cash positions across Grover's group entities
- Track incoming and outgoing payments using banking platforms and our Treasury Management System (TMS)
- Prepare payment instructions for intercompany transfers, vendor payments, and debt service transactions
- Support daily liquidity management, ensuring each entity has the cash it needs
- Help automate and streamline recurring reconciliation tasks (e.g. with Excel macros/VBA) to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with the Treasury, Debt Management, and Accounting & Audit teams on recurring operational tasks
- Gain hands-on exposure to Grover's ABS debt structure, intercompany cash flow, and liquidity management
- Current enrollment as a student in Germany and available to work 20 hours per week
- Experience with a Treasury Management System or banking operations is a plus; but not required, we will train you
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills; this is essential; you are comfortable with formulas and large volumes of data
- Exceptional attention to detail and reliability; you will handle significant daily cash volumes where accuracy is non-negotiable
- A genuine interest in building a career in finance or treasury; you want to learn the craft, not just fill a student job
- Some prior exposure to finance or working with numbers (a project, internship, or relevant coursework)
- Familiarity with financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) is a plus
- Fluent English; German is a plus
- Own It: We take ownership seriously and define what success looks like. We drive shared ownership and don't wait - we drive. We keep one another accountable and take responsibility when issues arise.
- Challenge, Decide, and Commit: We engage in proactive support, active listening, and healthy conflict to reach the best outcomes. We value diverse perspectives and, once a decision is made, we commit to it fully.
- Empower and Grow: We enable, trust, and coach one another toward high performance, always thinking and acting like owners. We seek growth, apply feedback, and support the development of our peers.
- Respect, Transparency, and Clarity: We strive for clear, respectful, and open communication with no surprises. We simplify complex information so everyone knows the "what, why, and how".
- BVG monthly discount to drive you everywhere in Berlin
- Mental health support with Nilohealth
- Physical health support with Urban Sports Club
- Annual learning budget of 750€
- 15 remote business days to work abroad
- Exclusive Grover Tech discount for you & your loved ones
- Engaging, open office located in Berlin-Schöneberg with regular events, and is dog-friendly
- A diverse global team of 75 nationalities (and counting!) - genuinely the nicest group of colleagues who will soon become friends
We are looking forward to e-meeting you! 🚀
