The internship is for a minimum of 4 months.

As an intern you will apply technical skills in Fragrance Technology under close supervision within a clearly definded scope, to carry out basic lab work and simple technical tasks that support innovation and technology implementation, according to project requirements and functional strategy.

You will

• EHS / Compliance Maintain a safe, clean and orderly laboratory environment in accordance with EHS guidelines. Adheres to high ethical values and beliefs
• Technical / Analytical / Sensory support under the manager's supervision, excecute bench work and lab experiments in a safe manner
• Project Management & External Collaboration in-time execution of the planned lab or projects activities under supervision; maintain relevant documentation. Collect experiment results and present them to his/her manager in a neat, clear manner
• Internal technology deployment support prepartion of samples and basic materials for deployment activities under supervision
• Innovation & IP identify and report any novel observations of potential improvements encountered during daily tasks
• Scientific Expertise Apply technical skills to achieve high quality, reproducible results in own operational area
• Olfactory Expertise Develop basic smelling abilities through supervised participation in technical olfactory assessments
• Culture, Communication & Collaboration Learn and apply daily the Givaudan DNA
  
  

You

• Study field sciences such as chemistry or similar
• Basic knowledge of fragrance and/or FMCG science and technology
• Scientific / analytical skills / knowledge in area of speciality
• Knowledge and ability to use laboratory bench equipment with minimal training
• Understanding of laboratory practices
• Good knowledge of EHS guidelines as they pertain to lab maintenance and operation
• Good verbal and written communication
• Fluent in English
• Good team working and collaboration attitude
• Ability to develop innovative solutions; ability to problem-solve
• Ability to learn quicky
