In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in areas such as RFx processes, supplier negotiations, bidding activities, supplier relationship management (SRM), dashboards, and sourcing controls. You will support the sourcing team as a first point of contact for operational topics and contribute to data-driven improvement initiatives within a global supply and sourcing environment.
This position is ideal for students who want to combine their studies with practical experience in sourcing within an international company.
Your Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day sourcing activities including RFx processes, bidding, and supplier-related tasks,
- Analyse sourcing-related data to identify trends and improvement opportunities,
- Assist in creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and KPIs (e.g. Excel, Power BI),
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within sourcing operations,
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations for internal sourcing meetings and workshops,
- Work closely with cross-functional and international stakeholders
- You are currently enrolled (immatrikuliert) at a university or university of applied sciences, ideally in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a comparable field,
- You have strong analytical skills and enjoy working with data and KPIs.
- You are confident using MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint,
- Knowledge of Power BI and/or SAP (e.g. S/4HANA) is an advantage,
- You work in a structured, reliable, and proactive way,
- You enjoy collaborating in an international and cross-functional environment,
- You are fluent in English and German.
- A fixed-term Werkstudent position (4 months, July – October with possible prolongation of a few months),
- Working time of 15–20 hours per week, compatible with your studies,
- A hybrid working model with flexible working hours,
- Practical experience in sourcing and logistics within a global technology company,
