Your area of work
Join us as an Intern in Recovery and Resolution Planning and take the opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment. During your internship, you’ll dive into the fundamentals of Recovery and Resolution Planning - covering preparation, maintenance, reporting, and the practical implementation of plans. You will collaborate with a variety of teams across Clearstream, including Risk Management, Credit, Treasury, Financial Accounting and Controlling, giving you a broad perspective on our business. From day one, you will be actively involved in our processes and entrusted with diverse, stimulating, and challenging tasks that will help you grow both professionally and personally.
Your responsibilities:
- You will assist our team in developing and maintaining Recovery Plans as well as Restructuring & Wind-down Plans, ensuring full compliance with BRRD and CSDR regulations
- You will coordinate and gather essential information from key stakeholders across the organization
- You will prepare daily reports for Management Bodies
- You will contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives within the department
- You will support the planning and execution of Fire Drills to test operational readiness
- You will handle various administrative and organizational tasks to keep processes running smoothly
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics) at a recognized institution and have completed at least 2 years of studies. Furthermore, we offer the possibility of an orientation internship, whereby you are currently in a gap-year after your bachelor's or master's degree in the above-mentioned fields of study - in this case, an enrolment is not required
- You are a strong team player with excellent communication skills, demonstrating commitment, independence, motivation, and attention to detail
- You have advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- You are familiar with the current regulatory framework for CSDs and banks (e.g., BRRD)
- You show strong analytical skills combined with creativity, critical thinking, and the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions
- You are fluent in written and spoken English; German is considered an asset

Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
Studieren in Deutschland
