The Dahua DACH team is currently seeking talented Technical Support Intern (40 hours/week) to join us. The internship is for a duration of 6 months, with longer duration as well as an immediate start date preferred.


Responsibilities

As the technical support Intern, you will join the Product& Solution team and gain hands-on experience with the end-to-end B2B business process in the smart secruity and AIoT industry. You will develop a solid understanding of Dahua´s product portfolio, including product features, technical specifications, applicaion scenarios and hands-on product operation. You will gain in-depth exposure to smart security and IoT technologies while actively participating in international projects:

  • Support various stages of the product lifecycle, including pre-sales, sales support, after-sales support, and product management activities.
  • Assist in evaluating technical solutions that meet customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions based on different business scenarios.
  • Support product selection, quotation preparation, technical documentation, and technical specification management.
  • Build expertise in assigned product lines and provide regular product updates and technical information to customers and internal teams.
  • Communicate with customers regarding technical inquiries, after-sales support, and product-related issues.
  • Conduct comparative analysis of different technical architectures and prepare technical reports.
  • Participate in product testing, security and vulnerability testing, and provide related technical support.
  • Support exhibitions, trade shows, customer demonstrations, and marketing activities with technical expertise.
  • Assist in delivering technical training and communicating technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the Technical Director.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (current students are also welcome), preferably in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields;
  • Familiar with IP networks, infrastructure, and related hardware devices;
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken), with strong cross-cultural communication skills; Chinese fluent.
  • Strong logical thinking, analytical, and communication skills;
  • Proficient in using AI tools to improve work efficiency, research, and problem-solving capabilities;
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and a strong team player;

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
