About The Internship

Bioprocess Solutions is part of Crop Protection Innovation at Bayer Crop Science Product Supply. We are working across the company on the development and optimization of biotechnological processes. As part of our projects with various partners within the company, we offer dedicated students (all genders) the opportunity to gain practical experience and apply their acquired expertise.

Your Responsibilities And Tasks

  • Support activities in the areas of molecular biology, synthetic biology, and biotechnology
  • Work on exciting and forward-looking projects
  • Apply molecular biology, microbiology, and bioanalytical methods
  • Investigate various cultivation conditions on an automation platform
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
  • Gain insights into the processes of industrial biotechnology

Who You Are

  • Enrolled master's student (m/f/d) in molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, life sciences, or related fields of study
  • Initial laboratory experience in the areas of microbiology and molecular biology is desirable
  • High willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Very good English skills in both spoken and written form

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Forschung in Leverkusen für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
