Beschreibung bereitgestellt von Apaleo

We created Apaleo to change the hospitality industry in a meaningful way. Our API-first property management platform empowers accommodation providers to design a technology stack that creates unique digital guest & staff experiences.

At Apaleo, you will find a diverse team of people with different backgrounds, united by the passion for learning and building an innovative product.

Now, we are looking for a Event Marketing Working Student (f/m/d) to join our team in Munich, Germany!

We value ownership, communication and trust, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and creative candidate who can work with our Marketing team on creative projects and innovative ideas.

About the role

As an Event Marketing Working Student based in Munich, you will get hands-on exposure to global event marketing across DACH, France, the UK, and the US. Working closely with the Event Marketing Manager, you will play a real role in bringing events to life - from sourcing venues and managing supplier relationships to keeping logistics, operations, and budgets running smoothly across multiple markets. If you want to learn how international event programmes are built and executed at a fast-moving tech company, this is where you do it.

Your mission:

  • Support the planning and execution of events across DACH, France, UK&US - getting real exposure to how global event marketing operates at pace
  • Support the Event Marketing Manager in building and nurturing vendor and venue relationships - being the reliable operational backbone that keeps those relationships running smoothly
  • Own the logistics part of events: coordinating with venues and suppliers to ensure commitments are delivered on time and on budget
  • Manage the end-to-end billing and invoice workflow, keeping records accurate and aligned between the event team and finance
  • Maintain documentation, timelines, and status tracking across ongoing projects to keep the team coordinated across markets
  • Use AI tools to streamline event operations - from research and briefing - working smarter across every part of the workflow

You would be perfect for this role if you have/are:

  • Currently studying marketing, business, hospitality, or a related field
  • A strong commercial instinct - you understand that events serve a business goal
  • Full professional proficiency in English; German is a plus given our DACH presence
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple events and markets simultaneously without dropping the detail
  • A proactive problem-solver - when something isn't working, you find a way forward rather than waiting for direction
  • Dependable and communicative - you take ownership of logistics, flag issues early, and keep everyone aligned
  • AI-native by default - you reach for tools that help you move faster and operate more precisely
  • Comfortable operating across cultures and time zones, with a genuine curiosity about the hospitality industry

If you're excited about a role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every bullet point listed in the job description, we still encourage you to apply. If you're passionate about Marketing, share our company values, and are enthusiastic about making one of the most innovative hospitality software products, we want to hear from you.

What you will get from us…

At Apaleo, you will join a thriving work environment, a start-up in the hotel industry located in Munich, with an international team. You will be a part of an exciting, open, and agile team, where your voice matters and has a company-wide impact. We create a highly attractive product that enables us to see the inspiring materialised end result. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive environment for everybody: our team is composed of more than 20 nationalities, with different backgrounds and perspectives.

We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer, committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming workplace. We encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, regardless of race, color, religion, gender identity or expression, sex, national origin, age, marital status, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
