Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

About Our Environment

At Airbus, we pioneer sustainable aerospace for a safe and united world. To deliver on this promise, Airbus Customer Services is undergoing a profound evolution. We are actively transferring the precision, rigor, and cultural mindset of the Airbus Operating System (AOS) - inspired by world-class operating systems - into our transactional, global "white collar" and service environment, which touches several internal functions like Program, Engineering, Procurement, Training and Digitalization.

Within our Operational Excellence organization, we don't just optimize processes; we are designing the standard for future ways of working. We combine classic Lean methodologies (Value Stream Design, Hoshin Kanri, Problem Solving) with cutting-edge data ecosystems like Skywise and GenAI to build a highly responsive, transparent, and efficient service network.
