Working Student - Robotics Software Application (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy control algorithms on real robots
• Build demos on top of our existing control algorithms to show what the system can do
• Design and run experiments to test and validate control approaches, in SiL/HiL simulation and on real robots
• Turn data from real-robot trials into clear findings that shape what gets shipped next
• Grow the test coverage and technical notes that keep a fast-moving control framework reliable

Essential Skills

• Strong command of C++, including the ability to read and confidently modify an existing, non-trivial codebase; working proficiency in Python
• A genuine interest in robotics and control systems, with the motivation to develop deep expertise
• A rigorous instinct for testing and for documenting technical work well
• The ability to take open-ended problems, give them structure, and communicate results clearly
• Comfortable with Git and working in a collaborative development environment
• Availability to work fully on-site — the role involves hands-on work with physical robots
