About The Role

We are looking for a working student (f/m/d) to join us starting September 1, 2026, to support our team in cable production and development at our Pleinfeld location, near Nuremberg. In this exciting and varied role, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a practical setting while gaining in-depth insight into the various applications and measurement processes of an innovative company.

For this position, you must be available for approximately 1–2 days per week for at least one year, or ideally longer.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with a wide range of electrical measurements, such as signal measurements in the frequency and time domains and high-voltage measurements on electrical cables
  • Develop and validate new measurement methods or new test equipment
  • Gain familiarity with measurements in the wet chemistry laboratory
  • Independently and meticulously perform measurements and document the results
  • Furthermore, use your keen eye for detail to derive valuable insights and trends from the test results, which are directly incorporated into product development
  • Work in close collaboration with experienced technologists, application engineers, and the production team

Qualifications

  • You are enrolled in a technical or engineering degree program, such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, materials science and engineering, chemical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a similar field
  • You are fluent in German and English
  • You are familiar with common software tools such as MS Office
  • You approach tasks in a structured and responsible manner
  • Working independently and accurately comes naturally to you
  • You enjoy pitching in and contributing your own ideas
