Your Tasks:
- Build new SaaS connectors in TypeScript (Bun + Elysia) to integrate platforms like Slack, Salesforce, and Atlassian into our platform.
- Work with REST and GraphQL APIs; handle authentication, pagination, rate limits, and error cases.
- Publish and consume events over RabbitMQ so services stay in sync and handle real-world distributed patterns.
- Use AI coding agents (Claude Code, etc.) to write most connector code - your role is to verify, test, and refine against vendor APIs. Write tests and documentation.
- Learn through code review, collaborate with the team, and grow your backend development skills in a real-world project.
Your Qualifications:
- You are enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable program.
- You have solid TypeScript skills and understand async/await, Node.js, and basic API concepts.
- You are comfortable with Git and REST APIs; prior experience with GraphQL or message queues is helpful but not required.
- You read documentation before guessing and are willing to learn from feedback and code review.
- You can contribute 15–20 hours per week. Fluent English or German required.
Nice to Have:
- Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), or SQL/PostgreSQL experience.
- Prior exposure to SaaS platforms or IT asset management.
This position is available at one of our three locations: Aachen, Leinfelden-Echterdingen, or Möglingen.
