Job description

Description provided by Tunen Agronomy

Germany | Remote | 10–15 hours/week | Flexible working hours

At Tunen.ai, we're solving one of the biggest data challenges in agriculture: making farm-level data easier to collect, manage and use.

Our AI-powered platform helps farmers and food companies turn fragmented agricultural data into useful information for smarter decisions, supply-chain transparency, traceability and sustainability.

We already work with industry leaders including AGCO and Pfeifer & Langen and are backed by investors such as HTGF and Rockstart.

We're now looking for a motivated working student who understands farming in practice and wants to help us build technology that makes a real difference in agriculture.

Your Role

You'll work directly with our founder team and support different areas of the business, depending on current priorities.

Your work will focus primarily on the German agricultural market, particularly German arable farmers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Product Development: Support the development and improvement of our platform by providing practical agricultural insights, testing features and collecting feedback from farmers.
  • Customer Support: Help our customers and farmers use our solution, answer questions and identify opportunities to improve their experience.
  • Business Development: Support outreach to German farmers and agricultural businesses, market research and the development of new customer relationships.
  • Agricultural Expertise: Bring your practical understanding of farming operations, agricultural workflows and the challenges farmers face into our daily work.

You'll have the opportunity to contribute across different areas, take ownership of tasks and gain hands-on experience in a growing AgTech startup.

Who We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Crop Science, Plant Production, Dairy Science, Agribusiness or a related field.
  • Practical farming experience is a must. You have worked on a farm and understand day-to-day agricultural operations. Experience from harvest work, seasonal farm jobs or other practical agricultural activities counts.
  • An agricultural apprenticeship (landwirtschaftliche Ausbildung) is a strong plus.
  • Previous internships or working student experience in agriculture, agricultural technology or related industries are an advantage.
  • Fluent German and English are required. Additional languages are a plus.
  • An interest in agricultural technology, digitalization and practical solutions for farmers.
  • A proactive, reliable and independent working style, with a willingness to learn and take responsibility.
  • Good communication skills and an interest in working directly with farmers and customers.

What We Offer

  • 10–15 hours per week, with flexible working hours that fit around your university schedule and exams.
  • Fully remote work from Germany.
  • Direct collaboration with the founders and a small, entrepreneurial team.
  • The opportunity to gain experience in product development, customer support and business development.
  • Real responsibility and the chance to contribute your own ideas.
  • Practical insights into building and scaling an AI-powered agricultural technology company.
  • A meaningful role at the intersection of agriculture, technology and sustainability.
