Marketing Intern

tappz is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our small, but highly productive and ambitious team in Berlin or Munich — with the option to grow into a permanent junior role afterwards. You'll get hands-on experience in a highly specialized corner of marketing that you simply can't learn in school: growth marketing for apps.

We build apps with global reach, and cutting-edge AI. In this role you can expect hands-on training across App Store, funnels, and web marketing — working directly with all team members, with access to the same AI tools we use every day. We need someone who's proactive, curious about trends, and hungry to be at the edge of what's next in marketing.

Tasks

App Store Optimization & AI Engine Optimization

• Market and competitor analysis to improve how our apps are discovered — in app stores and by AI assistants.


• Help optimize app store listings — copy, screenshots, and metadata — and monitor rankings and reviews.

Funnels & Web

• Help build and test web-to-app and web-to-web funnels, from landing page to conversion.


• Maintain and update our marketing web pages, working with design and dev as needed.

Market Research & Insights

• Monitor niche trends and innovations, generate ideas for in-app content.


• Manage localizations and culturalizations, both for app and web listings.

Team support

• Be the team's go-to helper — pitching in wherever needed and learning the full scope of mobile and web marketing along the way.


• Help build automated processes with the AI tools we provide, to work faster and smarter across all of the above.

Requirements

We are looking for

• A proactive approach — you spot what needs doing and get started.


• Self-motivation and a genuine desire to be at the edge of technology.


• Curiosity about marketing trends, with the drive to keep learning and improving.


• Comfort working in a small, fast-moving, collaborative team, and juggling a few different areas at once.


• Goog proficiency in English, since you'll be writing copy for a global audience.


• A formal background in mobile/web marketing is a plus, but not required.
