General Information

A basic requirement for a working student position at Schaeffler is proof of enrollment throughout the period of employment. This position is to be filled as of 01.09.2026

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support digitalization projects and initiatives
  • Collect, organize, and process data from coating development projects
  • Assist in integrating AI and machine learning solutions
  • Work on data engineering tasks using SQL
  • Support user interface and API integration for GPT / LLM-based applications
  • Assist with documentation and technical reporting

Your Qualifications

  • Completed bachelor’s degree and ongoing master’s studies in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a comparable field
  • Strong interest in digitalization, data analysis, AI, and machine learning
  • Basic to good knowledge of Python, SQL, and/or PostgreSQL
  • Initial experience or background in machine learning, LLMs, and data science
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or dbt is an advantage
  • Structured, analytical, and reliable way of working
  • Basic knowledge of German and very good written and spoken English skills
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
