Description provided by Schaeffler

Schaeffler is a dynamic global technology company and its success has been a result of its entrepreneurial spirit and long history of private ownership. Does that sound interesting to you? As a partner to all of the major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, we offer you many development opportunities.

In a thesis, the influence of various components will be analyzed using a simulation model and compared with measurements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Familiarization with the topics of "electric drive technology" and "electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)"
  • Literature research on the topic "EMC Simulation in drive technology"
  • Modeling and extension of an electric system model to simulated conducted emissions
  • Conducting and evaluating sensitivity studies
  • Analysis of the overall system based on the system simulation model
  • Documentation and presentation of the results

Your Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a comparable field of study
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
  • Good knowledge of MATLAB
  • Knowledge of LTspice is desirable
  • Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Initiative and structured approach

Our Offering

  • Attractive compensation and flexible working hours
  • Considerable amount of training courses via the Schaeffler Academy
  • Initiatives that support both the mental and physical well-being, e.g. via the Schaeffler Health Coach App
  • Opportunity to network in an international environment through various networking events (e.g. student get-together and Top Students Program)
  • An appreciative working atmosphere
  • A subsidized company restaurant
  • A wide range of employee benefits which includes, inter alia, corporate benefits
