Job Description

Do terms like 'withholding tax', 'capital gains reporting' or 'regulatory impact analysis' pique your curiosity? Do you enjoy translating complex financial regulations into actionable insights? If so, you could be the perfect addition to our team.

We are looking for a sharp working student to help shape the future of our tax-related products. In this role, you will dive deep into complex tax frameworks, assess their business impact and work closely with product managers and engineers to transform requirements into well-designed product experiences.

  • Take an important role in facilitating our product management and make an impact in a fast-growing financial company
  • Join a highly motivated team dedicated to delivering customer-focused products
  • Take responsibility for conducting in-depth research and providing valuable insights for product decision making
  • Investigate complex taxation subjects, identify business implications and formulate recommendations for further action
  • Design tests, uncover edge cases and conduct rigorous testing to resolve findings
  • Analyse, evaluate and monitor relevant policy changes and identify the need for action
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration by connecting business requirements with technical considerations
  • Work closely with the Product Manager, ensuring the highest quality in a rapidly changing environment

Qualifications

  • A fundamental understanding of the inner workings of a financial services institution
  • A natural curiosity that drives you to explore complex topics with multiple interdependencies and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyse, extract and interpret relevant information from legal and regulatory texts
  • Very good (C2) written and spoken knowledge of German and English
  • Willingness to work with programming languages, e.g. Python and SQL
