Working Student (f/m/d) Managing Jira System

Position Summary

As a working student to support managing JIRA dashboards and sprints, you will work closely with our SoC FAE team of System LSI division to maintain the sprints optimal by providing practical dashboards and reports with your skills.

System LSI is a division within Samsung Semiconductors Europe dedicated to enhancing cars with cutting-edge infotainment systems and sensors to ensure safe driving. You will support the SoC FAE team that is responsible for customer technical support of ongoing projects.

Role And Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

Jira Maintenance and Process Improvement:

• Review and optimize existing Jira boards and dashboards to reduce administrative friction.
• Create new Jira boards and adjust configurations based on team requirements.
• Develop custom dashboards, reports, and weekly ticket status summaries for team meetings.
  
  
  

Agile Process Coordination:

• Manage sprint administration activities, including creation, configuration, activation, and closure.
• Support backlog organization and ensure sprint data accuracy for reporting and performance tracking.
  
  
  

Power BI & Data Analytics:

• Maintain and manage Power BI dashboards connected to backend databases.
• Design reporting for performance monitoring and develop customized filters for team-specific insights.
• Maintain Python-based automation solutions for data extraction and operational reporting.
  
  
  

Documentation & Knowledge Management:

• Update and reorganize legacy Confluence pages and documentation.
• Create and manage new Confluence pages for future support activities.
• Prepare meeting materials and support team communication and coordination.
  
  
  

Asset & Hardware Management:

• Maintain asset lists, hardware inventories, and tracking boards.
• Ensure reliable handling of physical hardware and coordinate deliveries or pickups.
  
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

Requirements:

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge:
• Basic familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence).
• Basic understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
• Basic experience with Power BI, Tableau (good to have), Python, and database concepts.
• Experience with Jira (or similar) Query Language
• Skills:
• Ability to configure Jira boards, manage tickets, and understand workflow logic.
• Strong written communication skills in English.
• Ability to create simple charts and dashboards from provided datasets.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate lists and inventory.
• Soft Skills:
• Eagerness to learn, a "can-do" attitude, and the ability to work independently.
