About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Working Student (m/f/d) Product Management to support our Hardware Product Management team in Munich.
In this role, you'll work directly with our products, markets, and customers. You'll support market and competitor research, interact with professional installers, and get the opportunity to set up and test our Smart Home and heating control products yourself. This position is ideal for someone who is technically curious, enjoys analytical work, and wants to combine research with hands-on product experience.
What You'll Do
- You research markets, customer needs, trends, and regulatory topics to support our product and portfolio decisions.
- You analyze competitor products, features, pricing, and positioning and turn your findings into clear comparisons.
- You prepare and conduct interviews with professional installers and summarize key insights for the team.
- You set up and test products in our Munich office, including thermostats, wiring centres, radiator valves, and other components of our heating control systems.
- You document test results and product findings in a structured and easy-to-understand way.
- You prepare product and market overviews, presentations, analyses, and data to support ongoing Product Management activities.
- You collaborate with colleagues across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and international teams on real product and portfolio topics.
What You'll Bring
- You are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, for example Energy and Building Technology, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Digital Systems, Power Engineering, or a related field.
- You have a structured and analytical way of thinking and enjoy turning open questions into clear results.
- You are technically curious and interested in understanding how products and systems work.
- An interest in heating, HVAC, Smart Home, or building technology is a plus.
- You enjoy researching new topics and talking to people, including technical users such as professional installers.
- You have a hands-on mindset and are keen to set up, test, and explore products yourself. Previous HVAC experience is not required.
- You have fluent English language skills, both written and spoken. German or another European language is a plus.
Why Join Us?
- You gain hands-on experience in Product Management within an international Smart Home and CleanTech business.
- You work directly with real products and technologies and contribute to actual product and portfolio decisions.
- You learn how customer needs, market insights, technology, and commercial considerations come together in Product Management.
- You collaborate closely with colleagues across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and international teams.
- You develop your skills across market research, competitor analysis, customer insights, and technical product testing.
