RWE IT Infrastructure is the internal IT service provider that provides IT infrastructure services for all RWE locations worldwide. Due to the exciting developments within the framework of the RWE Growing Green Strategy and the introduction of new IT technologies such as cloud computing and AI, we run multiple initiatives to – introduce new services & upgrade existing services to support our business.
Within IT Infrastructure we have a team of Architecture and Strategy responsible for defining our IT Infrastructure strategy and supporting the future roadmap. Ensuring alignment to our business strategy, with focus on expansion, integration and business growth objectives in an optimised way.
We need to augment the team to manage increased demand.
We are looking for you as a work student in the role of IT Architecture Support (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
Depending on the situation, your tasks include the following activities:
- Collaborate closely with the Architecture and Strategy team to support existing & new initiatives
- Support our key project scoped to create transparency on IT Infrastructure Data to support Business Intelligence and Automation.
- Support/Implement Proof of Concepts on new technologies (Datalake, Power Automate, Phyton etc.)
- Do market research on new technologies/services and frameworks
- Assign Architects in Design and Implementation
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and summary reporting
- Support in Business/Technical Analyst activities (including requirement gathering, analysis, design support) and documentation
- Creation and maintenance of knowledge and news articles (MS Office Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Support with other Architecture & Strategy projects as necessary
- Enrolled Bachelor's or Master's student (male/female) in engineering or STEM subject(s) or another relevant subject (data analytics, data engineering, software engineering, business analytics.)
- Programing and Tools: Power Automate, MS Office Suite, Python, Power BI
- You have an analytical, structured problem-solving and practice-oriented way of working
- You impress with proactivity, reliability, and accuracy
- You have a strong ability to work in a team and enjoy communication
- You have a confident command of the English language, both written and spoken

- Command of German language is beneficial but not essential
