The Position
As our Business Strategy & Operations Intern, you will directly support the Head of Operational Performance & Strategy Implementation (Pharma Technical Operations, Drug Substance, Site Penzberg). You will sit at the intersection of "Run the Business" (operational performance, KPIs, site management reviews) and "Change the Business" (strategy deployment, business continuity, and process governance). This is a high-visibility role providing cross-functional
insights into site leadership team dynamics within a premier biopharmaceutical manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Deployment: Support the tracking and cascading of site strategic initiatives managing milestones, and ensuring clear documentation and communication
- Operational Performance & Analytics: Assist in preparing operational performance reviews and managing site KPI dashboards to drive data-driven decision-making
- Business Resilience Support: Collaborate with our Site Business Risk, Continuity, and Compliance managers to streamline local manuals, templates, and tracking tools
- Leadership Team Support: Assist in the preparation, facilitation, and follow-up of senior leadership alignment and strategic sparring sessions
- Education: Advanced student in Business Administration, Engineering, Natural
- Sciences, or a related field (ideally with a focus on Strategy, Operations, or Project Management)
- Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights. Proficient in data analysis and the use of AI models
- Mindset: Proactive, self-driven team player who feels comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Languages: Business-fluent in English (written and spoken) is required. German is a plus
- Flexible working hours (37.5 hours/week)
