The Role

As our Talent (HR) and Operations Working Student, you'll collaborate with our local support team to ensure smooth Human Resource administration and some operational tasks.

As our Talent and Operations Working Student, here's a preview of the tasks you will be supporting:  

Talent Operations

  • Workday (HR Information System) update
  • Monthly Leaves update, sharing with managers
  • Overtime tracking and reporting
  • Monitoring our feedback collection campaign for our consultants and our support functions

Learning & Development 

  • Monthly team events coordination (e.g. for Project Managers or Consultants)
  • Training session logistics

Onboarding support

  • 1st day preparations
  • Checklist distribution & tracking
  • Off-boarding checklists

Talent acquisition operations

  • Coordinating interviews and panels and consolidating feedbacks
  • Collecting documents
  • Campus events coordination

Miscellaneous

  • Office life & events support (Retreat, D&I initiatives, Sustainability @ Quantis initiatives)
  • Adhoc Finance & Administration support
  • Adhoc communications support

Some logistics to consider

  • Location:  Berlin (Germany)
  • Job type: Working student position (maximum 20 hours /week)
  • Optimal start date: ASAP

Requirements

  • You're motivated to put your skills to work in an environment working towards building a sustainable future
  • You're a team player that works quickly, independently, and on schedule with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • You're fluent in written and spoken German, with working proficiency in English.
  • You have some knowledge or experience with German labour law, office management and/or human resources.
  • You have good interpersonal skills, and you practice open and transparent communication; welcome effective dialogue and productive disagreement with minimal tension.
  • Functional understanding of Microsoft Apps (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) with an ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • You have good synthesis skills and a strategic mindset.
  • You're organized and juggle multiple projects and deadlines well.
  • You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit: you are always looking for new ideas and ways to push the envelope.
  • You are studying in the final phase of your studies in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Currently enrolled at University, with further enrollment planned for another 6 months minimum
