General Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Working Student to support our team in various work packages related to sensor data analysis. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience with real sensor systems, data pipelines, and applied research in a dynamic and innovative engineering environment.

You will work closely with experienced engineers, contribute to ongoing investigations, and help improve tools and processes used across the team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist with sensor testing and data recordings
  • Perform statistical analysis and evaluation of sensor data
  • Develop and maintain Python‑based analysis scripts
  • Support the creation and automation of test templates and evaluation workflows
  • Contribute to documentation and reporting of findings


Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
  • Good knowledge of statistics and statistical data analysis
  • Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, SciPy, pandas, matplotlib, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and bash commands
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)


Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • Knowledge of Radiofrequency (RF) / Hochfrequenztechnik, particularly radar principles
  • Familiarity with software development tools, such as:
    • Git (version control)
    • Docker (containerization)
  • German language skills are a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
