Who We Are

Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production. The Factory Simulation Team is responsible fort he simulation and optimization of manufacturing and logistic processes as a part of the central planning within PowerCo.

Your Role And Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting simulation engineers in building, extending, and maintaining simulation models using Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation
  • Preparing, processing, and analyzing input data for simulation studies
  • Running simulation experiments as well as performing basic evaluation and interpretation of results
  • Supporting value stream analyses, identification of bottlenecks, and evaluation of manufacturing concepts
  • Documentation as well as visualization and presentation of simulation results

What You Bring To The Team

  • Ongoing studies in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics)
  • Basic understanding of production, logistics, or process systems and their key performance indicators
  • Basic programming skills, preferably in Python or SimTalk
  • Good English skills, spoken and written (mandatory), German skills are desirable
  • Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented working style

What Makes You Stand Out

  • First experience with simulation tools or libraries (e.g. discrete event simulation)
  • Basic knowledge or strong interest in value stream management, Lean methods, and process-oriented thinking
  • Knowledge of or interest in OEE analyses and bottleneck analyses
  • Knowledge of or interest in operations research, particularly for solving optimization or scheduling problems
  • High willingness to learn, proactive mindset, and interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
