About the Role
Are you looking to kickstart your career in the technical software industry? Join the NinjaOne Solutions Engineering (SE) team for a hands-on learning experience.
This internship is designed to help you develop the skills needed to bridge the gap between technology and business. You will work under the mentorship of the SE Director and collaborate with our Senior Engineers to support the daily operations of our multilingual EMEA team. You will learn how a high-growth SaaS company functions by assisting with process optimization, knowledge management, and technical environment maintenance.
Location - Berlin, Germany
What You’ll Be Doing
- Learn how to verify and maintain complex technical demo environments (RMM, Backup, HaloPSA); support the team in identifying configuration errors and ensuring the platform is ready for use
- Work with Senior SEs to document standard configurations, helping to create a consistent technical baseline for the department
- Contribute to the knowledge hub (SharePoint) project by helping to consolidate and organize our technical resources; you will learn how to structure information effectively for a large, distributed team
- Assist in monitoring the SE Process Change Log; you will learn to identify bottlenecks in workflows and collaborate on proposing improvements
- Learn to manage a ticketing queue by acting as the first point of contact for internal requests; you will be trained to categorize issues and route them to the correct Subject Matter Experts
- Develop an understanding of the commercial and economic stakes of different customer segments (Tier 0 vs. Tier 3) by supporting the team with administrative and scheduling tasks
- Integrate into a diverse, multilingual team (EN/FR/DE/IT/ES/NL), learning how to communicate effectively with technical and sales stakeholders
- Help prepare professional technical documentation and templates to support our customer communications
- Other duties as needed
About You
- Enrolled in an Engineering School or Master's program (or similar) looking for an internship
- Strong interest in IT concepts (SaaS, Networks, Security) and want to learn how they are applied in business
- You appreciate structure and want to learn how to manage projects methodically
- Professionally proficient in English (mandatory)
- Basic familiarity with Office365; we will teach you the rest (Salesforce, Ticketing systems, etc.)
- Empathy, patience and a sense of humor - we work hard and have fun doing it!
