As a Working Student Strategy & Corporate Development (m/f/d), you are an important interface within our Strategy team and support the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives across the MB Energy Group. Working closely with experienced strategy professionals and cross-functional stakeholders, you contribute to shaping and advancing strategic projects that are central to the company’s future development.
In this role, you gain first-hand insights into how corporate and business segment strategies are developed, translated into concrete initiatives, and implemented across an international energy business. You will support analytical, conceptual, and communication-related tasks while contributing to strategic topics in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Your Tasks In a Nutshell
- Strategic Analysis: You support the Strategy team with market, competitor, and business analyses to inform strategic decision-making.
- Project Support: You contribute to strategic initiatives and projects by structuring information, preparing materials, and supporting project coordination.
- Market Research: You conduct research on industry trends, market developments, and relevant topics within the energy sector.
- Presentation Development: You prepare management-ready presentations and help communicate strategic topics clearly and effectively.
- Strategy Implementation: You support the translation of strategic priorities into concrete initiatives and help track their progress.
- Documentation & Insights: You summarize key insights, structure information, and help document outcomes of strategy projects.
- Education: You are an enrolled student in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field — ideally in the later stage of your Bachelor’s studies (from approx. the 3rd semester onwards) or in the early stage of your Master’s program.
- Analytical Skills: You enjoy working analytically and have a structured approach to solving complex problems.
- Technical Skills: You are confident using MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Industry Interest: You are interested in strategy topics and have a curiosity about the energy sector and its transformation.
- Project Exposure: Initial experience in project work (e.g. internships, student consulting, or university projects) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Language Skills: You have very good English skills; German is an advantage but not required.
- Curious & Proactive: You are eager to learn, take initiative, and actively contribute your ideas.
- Structured & Reliable: You work in a structured and reliable way, even when managing multiple tasks.
- Communicative Team Player: You collaborate effectively with different stakeholders and contribute positively to team dynamics.
- Adaptable & Open-Minded: You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities may evolve.
