Join our Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) team and help power the systems that keep complex space hardware operations running efficiently. In this role, you will develop automation tools and data systems that support test activities, operational planning, and engineering metrics. Your work will directly improve how data is collected, processed, and used across AIT. If you enjoy solving practical engineering problems through software, this is your launchpad.
Your Role in Our Space Mission
- Develop software tools and internal programs that improve efficiency within the Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) team
- Support the implementation of these tools within the company IT environment
- Interface developed tools with internal APIs, databases, and other data systems
- Help design and maintain information systems that support AIT engineering workflows
- Contribute to improving data accessibility and operational capabilities for the team
- Create and update Work Instructions related to assembly and test operations
- Document tools and processes to support long-term maintainability and usability
- Currently studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Initial experience writing code to solve practical or engineering-related problems
- Exposure to developing small software tools, scripts, or automation solutions
- Basic knowledge of Python programming
- Interest in developing software tools and automation systems
- Understanding of basic programming concepts and software development practices
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning
- Good organizational and documentation skills
- Fluent in English
